Skin Clinic:
At The Walkin Medical Centre, we regularly diagnose and treat precancerous and cancerous skin lesions, which are especially common in fair-skinned individuals. Our doctors are fully qualified to perform skin checks, and we offer on-site treatment options, including cryotherapy for the removal of benign and pre-cancerous lesions. This method is also effective for treating warts and skin tags. Most of these procedures are covered by major health insurance providers, with whom we have direct payment agreements for your convenience.
Health Screening:
We offer health screening for a range of common conditions in both men and women, including high cholesterol, diabetes, and haemochromatosis, among others. Our goal is early detection and prevention to help you manage your health proactively.
Travel Vaccinations:
We offer a wide range of travel vaccinations on site, including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Rabies, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Polio. Our doctors also provide expert advice on malaria prevention, covering both medication options and bite-avoidance strategies.
Diabetes Services:
Our Diabetes Services, led by our Practice Nurse, provide ongoing monitoring and support for patients diagnosed with diabetes. We offer regular check-ups, education, and personalised care to help manage the condition effectively and support long-term health.
Injection Services:
We offer essential injections, including Vitamin B12, for patients who require supplementation due to deficiency or underlying medical conditions. These are administered by our clinical team as part of routine care or ongoing treatment plans.
Eye Testing at The Walkin Medical Centre
​We offer basic eye testing for driving licence applications and other general purposes. Please note that in some cases, a separate eye test by a licensed optician may be required to complete your driver’s licence application.
